This last June I took a trip out to Brooklyn to the Easy Street Gallery for the Smoked Volume 2 book release. A company called Grit City Inc has started publishing collectible pipe art books and throwing gallery shows to display the works of art. This was their second glass pipe art publication, and I'm proud to be apart of it! I was only in NY for a few days, but glass artists are a lively crew, and we got a lot of sight-seeing done in a short amount of time. We did a ton of walking, and even more subway riding, which was quite an experience. We made trips to the Natural Museum of Natural History, the Guggenheim, Central Park, Manhattan Square, Brooklyn Bridge, and Peter Lugers Steakhouse. Then the nighlife included closing the bars at 4am and watching the sunrise before passing out and doing it all over again!
